I’m not feeling like blogging today, so I’ll just add a few comments to something a friend has written, so go read this if you are willing to totally rethink what you are doing in church.

Many first world churches are currently undergoing reconstruction, not spiritual reconstruction, but simply reconstruction of our buildings. The Dutch Reformed Church can probably start a very good construction company with all the ministers who are construction experts by now. Also my own congregation are doing a lot of construction at the moment.

Although I think understand the need, and honestly, I blame the way we constructed churches in the past for much of the construction in the present, I regularly need to ask myself if this is really what is needed to be church today.

But OK, I’m not in the mood for blogging, so go and read Ronald’s post, might make you think.
